I had an idea for an entry into this comp when I first heard about it, and then of course didnt start it because it was months and months away

I know that feeling.  Tripped me up a few times.

Time Management's a silly lady.

I hope you get finished in time.

Done.

I can still spot a couple of areas that need sharpening/ cleaning before baking him, but basically finished.

Yup, he's a manager or coach.

Looks pretty cool for a rush job.  Even for a not rush job, actually.

Is his front supposed to have that texture or is it in need of smoothing?  And those buttons look a bit like the ones on Mickey Mouses shorts... (really big)

Hi guys, thanks for the comments. I baked him and cleaned up a few areas a bit with GS and a knife. I changed the buttons slightly. They are supposed to be a bit oversized to emphasise his halflingness, but might have been a bit too large. Nice to get an opinion on that, thanks  ;)

Yes. There is a bunny on the ruler. It was the only one I could find  ::)

Any objection to using the previous, pre-deadline photos for judging purposes?

Buttons are better in the second version. You were right when you had the idea to change them. ;)
