The pose looks good from what i can see. Interesting way of mounting the armature too.

Yup, looking good.

More cardboard. :)  I'd be a little worried about how beat-up and flappy it's going to get during the process, but I'd guess that wire'd sturdy it up some.  Have you used that method a lot, before?

I stuck it to a putty and bottlecap handle before actually sculpting, but based on previous half done stuff lying around, if there's enough superglue, its fine

WIP:

legs look a bit short on the photo, but that's mostly foreshortening. They are still a little on the short side, but eh, too late for that.

The thighs do look a bit short but accounting for foreshortening they're probably within acceptable variation given the stylisation. Looks tastey so far  What's the putty?

I'm afraid theres not going to be much of a roman vibe in the finished piece, speaking of which, Its going to be down to the wire getting this done on time.

Done.
Hands and ears look like poo, and I'll probably re-do them. Ended up playing with a bunch of different mixes of putty, so there a few bits where the tone difference make him look a bit odd. All the reflections are a bit annoying too, I might see If I can photograph him in some better lighting tomorrow.
