Well I've decided what to sculpt, I just need to finish a couple of bits and pieces and I'll be on it! Gives me a good excuse to go back to GS as well. :D

Now then... Tumble weeds it would seem!

Given the hoo-har in the 'unofficial' thread I'd have thought that there'd have been more response to this already!  ;(

Anyway, I think I'm about ready to start. Not sure on what to do though! Thought about doing a redux of a FF chaos warrior that I did a while back, it didn't go over too well as he was scaled to match the old Jes G chaos players and there was a whole can'o'worms with the casting that I won't get into. So maybe a suitably big and chunky Chaos dude, more sharp edge work, Joy! But I'm also thinking that maybe I should go for something out of my comfort zone. I'm torn!

Just

I think if I had ten grand and a big crystal wax five to give away, more might perk up.  But I don't mind too much, not for this first attempt.  There's been a bit of stirring of interest in some corners, and I've already learned a couple of lesson, and started putting a bit to one side, for next year.

Not ten grand, though.

I hope there are a lot of entries.  It will be good to see what everyone comes up with.

I haven't got the heart to start a new mini but i'll try finish the 3 i have started, even though they don't qualify for the comp.

FF is generally based on American Football (Or hand egg as it's more accuately described), so yeah, they have a kick off guy.  Not all the teams in the various games use Kicker positional players but in Blood Bowl it is a skill which can be picked for a player.

Throwers are more common, ie. Quarterbacks.

Do what inspires you most though.

Palocles: one of the armatures in your previous photo should do nicely.

Dracon: let's have a look!  It's probably okay.

I started them a month ago though.  Maybe just an unofficial entry?

Well Vermis, your post on Warseer a while ago got you at least one potential entrant - I just bumped it for you as well.

Making a chaos marauder/norse type guy. I'll post some pic of my armature and WIPs when i can find my camera lead :(

Dracon: as per the PM's: gop ahead. :)

Palocles: You have suitable pics 'n' all.  Should do nicely for an official entry.

Ta Sazerac!

Mondria: plenty of time. :)

One question.
Should the figure be in one piece?
