Logoid
« on: July 29, 2010, 04:13:00 PM BST GMT »
Of late I've been toying with the idea (again) of setting up a little line of my own figures and as per usual with me I've started with a logo!

So I thought I'd throw up a wip to get some feed back.

let me know what you think of the name and the direction of the logo.

ta
Just.

No possessive apostrophe?

SPUD SMASH!

:P
"How did you know you weren't really going crazy?"
"The voices in my head kept calling me Bruce."
"Yeah, and?"
"In my head, that's not what I call myself."

Bit of a revision. Spud got me paranoid about the apostrophe  :o
and I wasn't really happy with the way the logo sat on the bg. Feedback mucho appreciated.

Wouldn't pay the ransom, would happily see the king trust up like a prize winning fish.

As logos for though I'm all for it. specially like the wax stamp seal.

Really like the logo and the new background woks better I feel. Good call on adding the apostrophe but I think it's too big and slopes the wrong way. I tweaked the image in photoshop to show you what I mean.

Cheers guys.

I just threw the apostrophe in using the unmodified typeface that I used to base the lettering on, but I think you're right Steve, it does look better mirrored and a touch smaller.

TA.

Looks awesome with the modification. :)
"How did you know you weren't really going crazy?"
"The voices in my head kept calling me Bruce."
"Yeah, and?"
"In my head, that's not what I call myself."

Thread-o-mancy GO!

I had a bit of an issue with the logo, (when I say issue I mean a catastrophic hard disk failure - without back up!) so I had to do it again from scratch!
Thought I's share v2.1 as it's had a few modifications!

scary thing is after christmas it's looking like this mag go from pipe-dream to reality...

and the single colour applications for those that care!

Ha ha, maybe, maybe!

It's dependent on the outcome of the Heretics ball at the minute, if one of my figures gets picked then I need a re think, if not it's full steam ahead.
